Hamari Gyano! tells the story of a greedy servant family who falls out with the son of their master and how manipulative lawyers insight them to lie and cheat the system and the courts. The story is also about the truth of our justice system, it’s many shortcomings and frailties. How money rules and at times even overshadows the truth. It has a moral tale for many well off families who have large properties, which over the period of time get encroached by servants, who no doubt have lived with their masters for generations. It is a lesson for the wealthy not to get too close to their helpers and staff and not to become too familiar with their kins. Hamari Gyano is a story of a feisty bull-headed Nepali maid, who threatens to take her new master to the cleaners and demands 50 lakhs for the services rendered by her and her family. It is a story of how courts can be manipulated, how false documents are submitted and how the entire laborious and slow procedures of the courts make sure that justice is delayed. It is a stark portrayal of our flawed justice system run by money-hungry cops and lawyers who are busy playing their own money-grabbing game. In the end, it is a story that bears testimony to the fact that both the plaintiffs lose in the end and only the lawyers and the court systems win by making money on their strife and differences.
Well the title of this essay of mine is called the Potty art of poetry it should rather be the The Potter’s art of poetry or even the Potheads art of poetry or maybe the art of poetry when you sit on the pot .As you know the pot is the best place two get your morning poetry inspiration’s . I visited Siberia and saw the home of the legendary Rasputin , I roamed the streets of Red Square with a Uzbek taxi driver who loved watching Mithun’s movies .I walked the streets of Moscow at night capturing it’s vivid beauty at night . So come with me lets walk together on the Siberian snow . I strolled across the various Catholic Churches in Liviv and even managed a visit to Chernobyl where the big nuclear lek took place in the mid 1980’s here . I wrote about my conversations with a Ukrainian slut who tried selling tea to me . I also tasted caviar for the first time in my life and relished it with sour cream , butter and sweet bun .My first taste of true Eastern Europe .
Yeh! Hai India is a book that came into being after almost 5 years of my travels around the world. During which time I covered almost 22 states in India not to mention the Andaman and Nicobar Is-lands. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari I have cress crossed the country in planes , cars , taxi’s local buses , trains on horse backs , camels , Donkeys and even Palki’s . I left no mode of transportation using bullock carts and auto rickshaws I crises crossed streets, by lanes and national highways.
The madness of monk is a fictional story of my excursions with a mad monk called Ten zing around the mountains of Simla and through the valley of Dharmsala . The book is a series of discussions between me and the monk were he unravels the seven noble truths of life and spreads light on Buddhist tradition and even ancient Bon religion still practiced in Tibet and Ladakh region . Through stories and co incidences Ten zing takes me through a journey across the eastern lands exploring the way of the East .
