Netflix has taken out Nayanthara’s ‘Annapoorani’ from stage in the midst of claims by Hindu gatherings it’s an “hostile to Hindu” film. NETFLIX Eliminates NAYANTHARA’S ‘ANNAPOORANI’

‘Annapoorani’ opened to negative surveys from pundits and crowds the same. The movie is coordinated by debutant producer, Nilesh Krishnaa. Aside from Ramesh Solanki, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) representative, Shriraj Nair, had additionally cautioned Netflix to bring down the film.

He took to X to share a cut-out from the film and stated, “We are completely cautioning you @NetflixIndia to quickly pull out this malevolent film of yours or probably be prepared to confront lawful results and @BajrangDalOrg style activity. @ZeeStudios_ (sic).”

Following the fight in court, Netflix has eliminated Nayanthara’s ‘Annapoorani’ from the OTT stage. Zee Studios, one of the makers of the film, has kept in touch with Vishwa Hindu Parishad expressing that the film will be taken out from the stage until altered.

Protest Recorded ON ‘ANNAPOORANI’

‘Annapoorani’ is about an aggressive lady hailing from a Brahmin family living from the moderate town of Srirangam. She is conflicted between her energy and the conventional goals that she had been educated since her young life. In the film, she doesn’t let her rank and strict contrasts stop her.
