It was time to let Mumbai know that I had arrived, after Calcutta Club my next stop was Cold Stone Creamery an American ice creams and exotic cakes outlet. They have a very unique way of making ice creams, they toss balls of ice creams in the air and swirl them around, before beating them and then services it to customers for Rs 150 a cups of small, medium and large. If you want you can have the various flavors of ice creams in waffle cones also. They have more than 40 flavors of ice cream with as many types of topping, each flavor has its own topping. The customers can order cakes also at this exotic creamery, which is an American franchisee and had recently opened up near the Oshiwara Police station. A must visit especially for families, it has very bright decor and has a standard look and feel no doubt to give it that American touch. They have a nice hospitable staff, who do a gig and a dance also while serving ice creams to customers, just like the Pizza tossers in Italy they toss the ice creams and do a little Macarena type of dance.
The cold stone creamery is a must for authentic ice cream experience and if you have an extra sweat tooth try their cakes as well, you can always get them packed and take them home to your loved ones. I again spoke about my travel blog and decided that I want my posters here to in. In return, I interviewed the manager and captures their little dance behind the counter. The outlet gets a lot of foreign customers as it is the number one ice cream outlet in the US. The outlet in Mumbai Oshiwara is the first in India and now there are 23 outlets all over India as the flavors are being enjoyed by more and more people.
But the go banana dance that the staff did was the best, the entire staff stood behind the counter and did the gig which is a kind of an anthem for the outlet. I captured it all on my camera and iPhone X is perfect for the jobs. With the manager’s interview and some snaps in the bag, I was ready for my food and poster barter. I explained to the manager that all this content along with a write up about their outlet will go on my blog and in exchange, I want free desserts and posters of my web-series on their wall.
The manager needs to get some permissions being an American outlet one needs to follow protocol since the outlet has a standardized look and feel, one needs to take permission before one puts any posters on their wall. I am sure I will have my posters here too soon. Well, Mumbai here I come webbing the web series web, my food outlets will be a great alley for my blog and Cold Stone Creamery will be a worthy partner and a well-deserved ice cream outlet for me to promote.
