Kovalam is a small town located by the Arabian Sea around 16 kilometers away from the Thiruvananthapuram city. It offers a splendid view of the great sea and is a must-visit for honeymooners. Couples can also indulge in water-related activities or enjoy the herbal massage offered here.

Places to Visit in Kovalam: Sagarika Marine Research Aquarium and Hatchery, Vizhinjam Lighthouse, Aazhimala Siva Temple and Halcyon Castle

Alleppey (Beaches)

Alleppey, or the city of Alappuzha, is one of the most prominent Kerala honeymoon places known for houseboats and backwaters; Alleppey is the city of lagoons and canals. The place is immensely beautiful and scenic with rustic backwaters running along the Arabian Sea, and hundreds of houseboats lining the vast network of channels. During the evening, the boats will dock near local villages where couples can explore the serene countryside.

Wayanad (Wildlife)

National and international tourists consider the Wayanad region as the most picturesque place. Wayanad is located 118 kilometers from Mysore in the northeastern part of Kerala. You can find a variety of wild animals like Indian bison, deer, tigers, and elephants. There are many resorts built in and around the Sanctuary to cater to the honeymoon couples.

Wayanad is a host to Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, which houses the four ranges of Tholpetty, Muthanga, Sulthan, Bathery, and Kurichiat.

Thekkady (Wildlife)

Thekkady is situated about 160 miles from Trivandrum and is known for being home to the Periyar National Park.

Located in the laps of Western Ghats, Periyar National Park is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary and is home to Tigers, Elephants, Sambar, Bison, along with many species of exotic birds.
