As 90s kids, when I say I miss the 90s, I mean the feel, the tunes, the beyond preposterous innocuous gigs, and a feeling of extravagance. Thus, when chief essayist Raj Shaandilyaa gave his statement to bring back the lost kind of the 90s with Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, it held a guarantee to engage, the outdated way. In any case, how about we simply say not all commitments are intended to be satisfied.

Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Trailer: 5 कारण जो बनायेंगे इस फिल्म को ब्लाकबस्टर

Set in 1997, when Rishikesh was a piece of Uttar Pradesh (presently Uttarakhand), Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) is a mehndi craftsman who is enamored with Vidya (Triptii Dimri), a specialist by calling. If it’s not too much trouble, note their calling is of practically no importance in this story. After an extended love siyappa, they maneuver their families toward tolerating their marriage. On a Goa wedding trip, Vicky proposes Vidya that they record themselves in their cozy minutes since outsiders make it happen. It is all okie dokie till the Cd gets lost, opening a conduit for bedlam.

On paper, the story appears to have a ton of potential to form into an undeniable satire. Allow me to rehash. It had the potential, however Raj gets excessively aggressive by needing to integrate a tad bit of everything. Result? It’s a tasteless khichdi with no lingering flavor. The tone of the film continues to stagger between parody, ghastliness and drama, never sorting through enough for one to put resources into it totally. It had acquired plots from Dhamaal, Welcome, and Stree (what!), maybe setting off the establishment being a fan into inquiring “Kehna kya chahate ho?”
