So this was it. We had all done it together – scaled EBC – and it was time for the final party, where we all came together to share a meal and celebrate. This was our farewell dinner, where each of us received a trophy and a plaque, commemorating our journey to the mighty peak. I had the chance to chat with many fellow trekkers and felt genuinely proud as I received my trophy – a keepsake I will cherish for the rest of my life. It will definitely have a special place on the wall in my living room.

The Final Everest

I enjoyed a fantastic steak dinner and treated some of my fellow trekkers to ice cream, as promised. After all, it was my birthday on the 10th of May, the very day we reached EBC – a sweet way to mark an unforgettable milestone.

It was a thrilling experience, and I felt like a kid again, surrounded by a team that had been so protective and supportive throughout the trip.
