Neel Matsya is a blue-colored trout who somehow grows a pair of wings after receiving a divine boon from the sage Saapt Rishi. She learns to soar through the skies, becoming the only fish capable of flying. However, as time passes, she gradually forgets how to swim.
The other fish of Bada Talab are both amazed and frightened by her extraordinary ability. Jealous of her gift, they reject her and cast her out of their community, declaring that Neel Matsya has been possessed by the devil. Leading this opposition are Lal Papda and Gori Hilsa, who convince the other fish that she is a danger to them all.
Only Bhola, the wise green octopus, stands by her. He argues that someone should not be abandoned simply because they are different. His words fall on deaf ears until disaster strikes.
A group of giant crocodiles invades the pond, attacking the fish and devouring them without mercy. Their leaders are Karaka, the enormous green crocodile, and Tarkash, whose tail is as sharp as an arrow. With powerful swipes of his deadly tail, Tarkash strikes down the smaller fish, turning life in Bada Talab into a nightmare.
Realizing their mistake, the fish turn to Neel Matsya for help. Using her remarkable ability to fly, she carries them on her back and transports them to a distant river called Taza Pani, where they can escape the crocodiles and begin a new life in safety.
Will Neel Matsya succeed in saving her people? Will the fish welcome her back into their community and accept her for who she truly is? Follow this tale of courage, compassion, and acceptance as the adventure unfolds.
