It had been a long time coming, but the moment had finally arrived for me to explore Gujarat. Many of my friends had warned me that there was not much to see there and that it was a boring, dry state. But I have a traveller’s eye, and I knew that an unexplored world awaited me.
Gujarat turned out to be a complete eye-opener. I was fortunate to have a wonderful driver who knew the state like the back of his hand. With the help of Vidhani, I was able to crisscross this fascinating land over a period of five weeks.
