The background of this private investigator, Daulat, is that he was a former spy who worked closely with RAW Chief of Intelligence Rameshwar Kaul. His job was to operate in Kashmir and infiltrate Pakistani sleeper cells that were causing unrest in India. He is assisted in his endeavors by Seema Chamkili, a forensic and bomb expert. He travels in his black Cobra jeep, driven by Bhairav Singh, a towering six-foot-tall Sikh with massive biceps who also carries a machine gun to protect Daulat.

They are up against an underground Pakistani sleeper cell called Islam-ul-Tarikh. This cell has over fifty armed operatives and mujahideen who are actively causing trouble in Kashmir. They infiltrate local communities and incite people to rise against the Indian Armed Forces in Kashmir. Their leader is the formidable Dara, a man who rose from the streets of Lahore. The son of a Muslim cleric, he is well versed in Islamic scriptures and is also an expert bomb maker.

He is assisted by the snake-like Sakura, who is tall and lanky with a pale complexion. He is a master of disguise and is highly skilled at making booby traps to ambush and destroy Indian Army vehicles. Sakura frequently disguises himself to obtain vital intelligence for the sleeper cell.

They are further assisted by Kamal and Dhamal, who are sharpshooters for the sleeper cell. They are hitmen assigned to eliminate designated targets within the Indian Army and among local government officials, including judges and army officers.
