The book chronicles the murders of the man who has been labeled the Butcher of Kumbharli Ghat. It details the murders of Swaraj Ranjan Das and his son Anup Das, who were the first known victims of Vijay Palande when he worked as a steward at the famous Mumbai restaurant Copper Chimney in 1994.

The book also uncovers the murder of Karan Kakkad and his unknown associate in March 2012, just before Arun Tikku was killed.
