Its assembly election fever in Dehra Doon and Uttrakhand these days and I get to see huge crowds on the street neither dressed in saffron caps or the congress colours even the AAP is in full flow here . The streets are littered with posters and flags with faces of the candidates plasters on the walls . Now and again an electric rickshaw wizzes past me with loud speakers blaring the message of one party or the other , yes this is election time for sure .
Went out jogging today , now I do not do just brisk walking but do jogging also in intervals along with stretching , the extra cardio makes me sweet and gets the heart pumping in the morning . The first thing I witnessed today as I got out of my house and into the main street was an accident a hospital ambulance had collided into a Hyundai black SUV . The radiator of the ambulance was smashed with the green engine coolant splattered on the rood the front side of the black SUV had a huge dent and had caved in .
I managed to capture the scene in my I phone and even made a video in the new cinematic mode . I even managed to capture the frustration of the driver as he paced about the road in anguish trying to jostle the ambulance driver who looked harassed and was constantly trying to contact someone through his cell phone .
As I walked further I was again chased my stereo dogs it has become a regular affair for me either being harassed by dogs or getting hit on the arm and elbow by the side view mirror of apron hing cars who past by me almost knocking me over . Thankfully I have managed to find a safe and quite route to do my biking and avoid the main roads in the city , when on my road bike .
With the on going. Section there where people sitting on road site booths distributing pamphlets today the voting starts in the city , so most people have gotten up early to cast their vote .
