“Yeh ! Zindigi hei ek Jua yanhan jeet bhi kabhi har bhi yahan dushmanun ki bheed mein mil jayen ge tujhey yaar bhi“ This was the song I was singing as I took up my new OYO rooms hotel in Andheri. My new found friend is Dab’s the owner of a scrumptious new food joint Called Da Chef Story. It was a gastronomic delight as I got hooked to his food, after tasting the fried pomfret, prawn curry and rice I tucked into the mouth watering seek kabab roll.
“You are our chief guest now I will also help you get a cheaper room, so that you can relax for the night.” He went on to say as if making me more comfortable.” I am a writer came here to sell books, I will be off soon as soon my work is done here.” I told him about my work and that I was a writer.
“I am a body builder yaar! You see my muscles he flexed them at me. “ You take steroids it seems you have such large muscles. I went on to add,” I like swimming and scuba diving, I am scuba instructor also.” That was it pleasantries were exchanged between us and a connection was formed.
This is my tribute to him and his food joint, I have been a Ardent fan of his and a great supporter of his food.
The restaurant is multi cuisine which includes rice, Thai curry, Noodles and Thai Curry but it’s the fish preparations that are my favorite and the ones that I liked the most. Along with that they have a pleasant service and great music, I specially like the background images of dragons that he has at the back wall of his joint. There is a nice spacious seating arrangement and a kitchen at the back of the eating joint.
So come enjoy the great delight of this famous eating joint .
